NX CAM Training Options
    NX Manufacturing Fundamentals
    Description: The NX Manufacturing Fundamentals course is designed to expedite the student learning experience in the generation of tool paths for 2 and 3-axis milling and drilling applications. As with each course developed and taught by Siemens PLM Software professionals, this class reinforces Siemens PLM's intimate knowledge of software's developments and instructs the students based on the underlying principles incorporated within the NX product suite.     Duration: 4 Days

    Fixed & Multi-Axis Machining
    Description: The Fixed-axis and Multi-axis Milling course is designed for NC/CNC programmers who want to learn how to create fixed and variable axis tool paths in NX for simple or complex multi-axis operations. Students learn how to select geometry in an ordered sequence to mill wall and floor geometry sequentially. In addition to high-speed machining methods, students also learn how to create associative copies of parts in an assembly and modify those parts to reflect design changes to the part. More...

    NX CAM Customization
    Description: The NX CAM Customization course is directed at the more experienced and advanced NC/CNC user that is interested in becoming more productive through the use of advanced customization techniques. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to add new cutting tools, cutting tool materials, part materials, and new machining methods along with appropriate feeds and speeds to the library. The user will also be introduced to the creation of Wizards and templates which will allow for the customizing of their system to machine their type of work. The user will also be introduced to the automated Hole Making module which will facilitate the drilling of large amounts of holes in short time. Finally, all of these activities can be verified with the Integrated Simulation and Verification module, which allows users to build their machine tool, and verify their operations and setups prior to arriving on the shop floor.
