Responsibilities
- New business development and sales process execution of assigned products in the United States (assigned geographic area)
- Market and competitive analysis of assigned products and territory
- Meeting sales goal within assigned territory
- Recruit and create sales strategy for each distributor
- Represents Applied CIM Technologies in a professional manner
Duties
- Analyzes customer need, develops sales strategy and present the best solution
- Travel to customer locations for sales calls and meetings
- Creates customer presentations and proposals
- Efficiently sell products and services by managing corporate resources
- Demonstrate solutions using internet technology
- Recruits and selects new distributors
- Supports and trains Distributors as needed
- Documents sales strategy and customer interactions
- Forecasts and maintains budgets for assigned products and territories
- Assures all customers are informed of upgrade and service opportunities
- Participates in product development planning
Desired Skills
- 3-5 years of new business development experience in industrial software solutions
- Ability to follow a disciplined sales process
- High level of enthusiasm for customer interaction and networking
- Practical skills in using spread sheets, word processors and web browsers
- Basic understanding of database managers, networking and internet applications
