On Demand Printing

CRIBWARE offers an easy solution to on demand bar code printing called "CRIBWARE Quick Print." While viewing an item on the computer screen, the user simply clicks a button to print a bar code label. The CRIBWARE software formats the label to correctly fit the label.

The CRIBWARE Quick Print Option:

Immediately prints barcode labels, one item at a time from the CRIBWARE SB screens.
Prints of labels for tools, jobs, employees, departments, and machines.
Format bar codesto print on standard 2.25" X .75" media.
Uses 3 of 9 bar code symbology. Supports the Eltron TLP 2742 printer.

Label Production

The Eltron TLP 2742 is a low cost, efficient, durable unit used to creates bar code labels in partnership with the Quick Print function. The Eltron TLP 2742 prints up to two inches per second. The printer accepts media up to four inches wide and has a five-inch diameter roll capacity.

The Eltron 2642:

Utilizes direct thermal/thermal transfer printing technology with up to 2" per second printing speed.
Integrates with the CRIBWARE Bar Code Quick Print Module.
Has a 4" wide media capacity with 5" diameter roll capacity.
Uses less space with its small footprint.
Includes a Centronics parallel interface and 10-foot printer cable.
Is shipped with 2 rolls of 2.25" paper media with 1780 labels per roll.

Reading the Bar Code

The CRIBWARE system is wedge barcode "friendly" meaning the system is designed to take input from the bar code reader and proceed intuitively through the data entry process. Keyboard and mouse entry is minimized by eliminating the command and providing automatic field advancement.

The CRIBWARE PSC 6000 is a durable, affordable laser scanner with integrated wedge decoder. The scanner includes a 6’ Y cable that connects the device to your PC and keyboard.

The PSC 6000 is:

Durable enough to withstands multiple 5 foot drops onto concrete.
